The Sunday Blog # 19
Today is the 14th of August 2016 The 10th of Ziqad 1437 till Sunset and This is my The Sunday Blog # 19. As you all know that the14th of August is also the Independence day of Pakistan. So a very Happy Independence Day to All. This is my First Sunday Blog on the 14th of August Independence day . and i am not sure when the next 14th of August will be on the Sunday again . Next year that is in 2017 it is definitely on a Monday. This is Also the first Sunday Blog on a night when the city is Alive . And especially my Town The Jamshed Town where the Mazar (mausoleum) of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah is situated. The Karachi Traffic Police@K_TrafficPolice is tweeting Tonight about the Diversions and Traffic Flow at 2:30 Am and Surely this will continue for the next 24 hours . The Date Change was Marked with Aerial Firing and Fireworks . This has become a very essential part of the Independence Day celebrations here in Jamshed town and Karachi . Rallies of Cars and Motor Bikes laden with Pakistan Flags and other colourful decorations are on the streets. Loud speakers playing National Anthems and Patriotic Songs on road side stalls and from cars and motor bikes. In Other words there is celebration in full atleast in this part of the city. PSP is also having a concert and fireworks nearby.

I am not a very celebrating kind But i do enjoy the Songs and Music a lot .Some of the National Songs especially the ones in Urdu Have very interesting lyrics and poetry . Yeh Fiza tumhari hai ....Yeh Chaman tumhara hai ....Nida quaid ki hai ...And trust me you will find similar names in every neighbourhood in every district of Pakistan . No Wonder the youth of Orangi town are so anxious to come here. Who Knows... BTW , My immediate neighbourhood has many vacancies these days. The Newly constructed is also ready another one is near completion. The Neighbour with three cars and Doctor Wife left so there is plenty of street parking tonight. The Old Lady was rushed to a Hospital in Clifton this week . O my God , I don't even know the names of my new neighbours and its already the time of major Change of Guards. Anyways ,
I had an Absolutely Amazing week Thanks to the Telenor Internet Packages and the Omantel 's Worldcall Cable . WorldCall had a system down again and I was getting restless and then a rival company spread a rumour that the company is shut down . Can they do that just go vanish in thin air . And leave their customers up for grabs. Anyways I think the 500MBs for three days were more than enough for me.So What I am trying to say is that gone are the days....yes ! Thank You !
Not Only This I even cracked the code . yes Now i am in sync with a smart phone as well. So if they stopped Spamming on my Phone i will probably start using a Smart 3G phone anytime soon. The Charging of Battery is still very difficult .

What Taleban on both sides of the border did to the Army and how the nation felt this week can only be explained with this verse .But I am sure its just a phase and they will yet again find something that will be cheered and loved.
Still the bomb blast in a quetta Hospital killing dozens of Lawyers cannot be easily forgotten . What surprises me here is that how a Human soul blows himself up and takes so many devil's own on a ride. Its so ridiculous There is something very wrong here i just can't put my finger on it .

The Mobile Network is Back . See This is the Reason why People in Pakistan and especially Karachi and Islamabad don't take the mobile internet and banking seriously. Anyways i was sleeping while it was shut down for security so i didn't miss it very much. So Once Again a very Happy Independence Day to All .
The Most interesting thing today is that the Developers in karachi are celebrating more than the Builders. I believe it says it all about the new govt of Sindh and the taxmen . After Zakat investments all eyes must be on the Sacrifices next months . I am sure the Builders will try to regain their past glory . Only few channels are reminding to remember the sacrifices . Here in the neighbourhood there is one builders friend whose Sacrifices over the past few years can neither be forgotten nor forgiven . What Baffles me so much is how he has survived in our neighbourhood . Is it his friendship with the builder or some small script in the contract with the devil i misread . He was Out few months back movers loaded his good stuff and took away but two weeks later they returned most of it. Must be very greedy hoping to make a quick money in the Pak vs Eng series. Not Everybody in my neighbourhood bets just like not everybody in my parents family does but some do . Money is more important to them than the Independence and Happiness . Yes they pray very regularly but only for the worldly gains. The Funny Thing is okay the crying out loud thing is that to them i am the big bad devour praying against their bets and speculations. So Sometimes living in the fastest growing city centre i sometimes feel as if i am on siachen glacier alone and helpless . Win or lose the good thing about them is that they don't want to remember anything after the game. But have to record even the slightest detail of my reactions for future use and that future reoccurs so quick that irritating has to become their second nature. The Most interesting times are when suddenly i am praying not against their odds but in their favour . They have to stay out of sight I simply love that dead silence . I was not a very clever child but was raised in a the ambience of many faith healers and divine doctors so i can only understand this culture not the statistics . Ah where is the tissue...wait let me grab a cup of tea.

Okay so where were we oh yes we were talking about money in the hood . Another rich neighbours grandsons are a little short of cash these days they have stopped ordering midnight deals and hired a armed guard to entertain me all day . This is a classified info IF you don't have the clearance skip it for your own protection myself on the otherhand has just received a Hyderabad package bundle offer from telenor . Trust me i got very suspicious when KE started following me on twitter.

three years ago when these kids moved in nearer they were very nice and pro- mother because they thought she will marry them as she knew mothers of all the girls they liked . But watching my hairs turn grey they realised its the dad who is going to pay for the wedding expenses so they turned pro dad who got very suspicious just like me . The Kids keep watching my hair turn greyer . Recently on their granddads funeral they get to meet a lot of Peers ( of their own kind with more or less riches) and suddenly realised that if they want the girls of their dreams they themselves have to pay for her shit. So now they are trying to establish their own business as well as doing what they were doing before. In this game i am definitely NOT on the side of their parents and their in-laws. I am on the side of the girls of their dreams. Ah the nosy driver knows .

Happy Independence Day and Congratulations !
Every year few days before the Eid ul Azha the Indian Border Security indiscriminately fires from across the border and few days later we see the best quality cows and bulls all over the city which is sacrificed and eaten . So today the news is that they have. God Bless.
So the Pump ups fired before maghrib azan in Jamshedtown to mark the level of series2-2 (SS 8-8) between Pakistan and England at Oval . I hope this makes the devil happy and it does not punish its own this time. 
Dinner
--It was a double jeopardy today The Independence Day Holiday and a Sunday with a Cricket Match near end But i did not have a chaapa (surprise visit ) only a tanhaiyan call and that too on the landline not for me. So despite no takeaway i had good food and went for maghrib and brought Walls IceCream So it was a perfect day Today . At Maghrib prayer there a a very young kid standing next to me doing all sorts of maneuvers .Usually I believe that they place the sick ones from the clinics next to me so they can be touched and blessed for no good reason today i felt the otherwise. ya i have a new tissue box somewhere.
Every year the media shows Donkey cart race on independence day today they showed the fishermen boat independence rally . But what i want to know is why Turkey has such nice boats and yachts like the one Maria Wasti uses for her show. While karachi has these...from the times of vasco de gama.
Anyways before I end the Sunday Blog #19. I want to thank the Non Political organization of a brotherly Islamic country for their help in securing the release of Russian Navigator from Taleban Non captivity .

--So if i may not be able to do The Sunday Blog from now on you cannot blame the Karachi Electric chain of command . or the Omantel and worldcall . It would be my own lack of interest. or Interest elsewhere or sickness . But Please do keep reminding me that if i have to do a day & night blog I can't eat Nalli Nihari (Shank bone Curry ) Mann it was tough staying awake today and the belchs and burps all day was more irritating and distracting then the neighbours .
