  • CAUTION: Guests with any medical, health, or self-imposed restrictions on their physical activity or are overweight for the body type or under “doctor’s care” should not use attractions.

  • Please supervise your children and arrange a meeting place in case you should get separated.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Ever since completing my tenure as Pakistan High Commissioner to U.K. in 2003, I have nurtured a dream to continue our family'scentury-old commitment to education.

Education has been a legacy of the Jaffer Family to Pakistan. It will continue with the building of The Hub School, a non-profit boarding school for 800 boys which will surpass existing standards of educational excellence in Pakistan. This will be followed by a boarding school for girls and finally a university of national importance on the outskirts of Karachi on 240 acres of valuable land donated by my family.

PRINCIPAL’S PROFILE

Wing Commander (R) Abdul Mujeeb MSc Applied Psychology (Punjab) & BBA Hons. (IBA) is a dynamic and experienced Principal with a proven record of managing and leading a boys boarding school. During his period, the school excelled in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. The students secured 28 positions in Cambridge International Examinations. In sports, the school won outstanding success with many medals and trophies and made a mark even at the national level. The students’ performance in co-curricular activities was also second to none.

Recognizing and emphasizing the importance of IT in the future endeavors of pupils, the school established “ARC (Augmented Reality Classes)”, which means the teacher and taught are remote and connected with Video Link. LMS (Learning Management System); which means the pupil can teach himself even in the absence of the teacher through online resources available on LAN & WAN was also introduced during his leadership.

He has vast and varied experience of teaching and management at College, Academy and University level. He was a trainer of Pakistan Air Force Cadets, Commandant of an Academy and Director and Member of Faculty of a University. During his tenure as Principal, the boarding school achieved sterling success.

Sindh government has banned swimming in the beaches of Karachi on Valentine’s Day after imposing Section 144

KARACHI: The Sindh government has banned swimming in the beaches of Karachi on Valentine’s Day after imposing Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
According to a notification issued by the home department on Friday, citizens will not be allowed to go beaches on Sunday, February 14.
“Police and law enforcement agencies will take action against those who violate the order,” said home minister Sohail Anwar Siyal.
Kohat district nazim’s attempt to ban Valentine’s Day backfires
In the notification, the Karachi commissioner stated that on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, a large number of people visit the seaside and take part in swimming.
This poses a health risk and thus, to avoid loss of human lives, should be banned, it stated further.

Chinese Navy docks in Karachi for a joint Naval Warfare drill with Pakistan Navy to be conducted in the Arabian Sea.

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah today visited the PLA (Navy) Ship LIUZHOU at Karachi and met the Chinese Flotilla Commander, Deputy Chief of Staff PLA (Navy) South Sea Fleet, Rear Admiral Yu Manjiang. A smartly turned out contingent of PLA (Navy) presented him Guard of Honour on his arrival onboard Chinese ship. The Naval Chief held detailed discussion on professional matters with Commander of the Chinese Naval Task Group.
The Chinese Naval Task Group comprising PLA Navy Ships QINGHAIHU, LIUZHOU and SANYA are presently on a visit to Pakistan for participation in 3rd Pakistan Navy and PLA (Navy) bilateral Naval exercise being conducted in Pakistani waters.
Earlier today, Rear Admiral Yu Manjiang laid wreath on the mausoleum of Father of Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Later, the PLA (Navy) Flotilla Commander alongwith the Commanding Officers of the participating PLA (Navy) ships also called on senior officials of Pakistan Navy including Commander Pakistan Fleet, Commander Coast and Commander Karachi.
