Even though weekend has no real significance in the lives of people who are voluntarily leisured like yours truly but when the day breaks on a weekend somehow even we can feel the difference. But unfortunately Sunday is not the real weekend , like most of the commercial and political happenings we do have a Soft weekend on Friday prior to the last weekend . Saturday is usually the day or for some the only day of work in the week . Traders and shopping centers open early and close later than other days of the week. Some private educational institutions have extra classes and special functions . The Mad rush and traffic jams are very common on Saturdays in this mega polis .
So, This soft weekend That is on Friday the main excitement on the media was that their very very dear Ayyan was leaving (or should i say coming ? ) for Dubai one year after the arrest at Rawalpindi airport with a lot of hard earned dollars $$$ Well you all know the whole story better than me so lets cut to the chase and come to the point it was about the dinner time some local channels started ticker that there is a traffic jam on shahrah-e-faisal the road that takes most people to Jinnah terminal . Just as we were wondering if she will make it in time before the flight leaves the news came of The Gravest miscarriage of Justice ever. A very important member of the Pakistan cabinet in a mad rush to seek first hand knowledge about the so called offshore companies forget to make an administrative decision exercising his full authority laid down on his strong shoulders by the Honourable judiciary of the country once again after about a month.
In our Twitterville the trend topper was Tahir Shah and his Angel clan no doubt leaving no hope at all for the mankind still the greatest Sucker remains the first family and offcourse the Grand Daughter the hope of china in Pakistan and just like Chinese mobiles and other cheap stuff ....her creamy lustre has at least for the time being faded in the hearts and minds of 33 % of Punjab . Well according to her most interesting pic tweet she said that before going for the "" Allaaj "" in london her grand mother gave PM her blessings as he kissed her hand .
According to media she and her very rich brothers and partners in crime were already in london when they should be in china or russia anyways .....
what i see in this picture is Mr Nawaz telling his dear mother " bebey kalo badshah saano lut liya saano barbaad kar dita ay ....sub londana tur gay se assi bhi lang rey se goray aan nu shikait karan ..saada kuch pata nahe ...tu ithay beh wasiq tey nazar rakhein te dawa daroo taem pey ley lein .....Rab rakha. " ------ ( dearest mother the black King has robbed us , he has destroyed us ...everybody has left for london ..we are also leaving now to complain to the White people . You sit here and keep an eye on wasiq and take medicines on time . God Bless ! )
The choked overflowing gutters in my neighborhood has gone back to normal flow making it much easier for me to reach the mosque late as usual. But the most heart breaking thing was the Immolation of a private university dental college last year student . sad sad thing ....may his soul rest in peace. Amen .
On thursday it was the 6th of Rajab the 804th urs mubarak of my grandparents patron saint Hazrat Khawaja Moin uddin Chisti RA also known as Khawaja Gharib nawaz . we offered fateha and listened to the qawwali on internet and prayed for his blessings . here i end my sunday blog with a very famous qawwali to pay the respects....
