The Sunday Blog # 8
Today is the 29th of May 2016. The 28th of May has just passed away very peacefully . Reminding me how it was some two decades ago . Pakistan was forced to become a Nuclear proliferation state conducting a retaliatory Nuclear Tests without signing the CTBT(Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty) accord. The Main Culprit of making Pakistan Nuclear was non other than the BJP's Atal Bihari Vajpayee jee the Then Prime Minister of India who is believed to have made an election promise to carry out nuclear tests in the febuary 1998 general elections .
On 11 May 1998, Operation Shakti (Pokhran-II) was initiated with the detonation of one fusion and two fission bombs; the word "Shakti" (Devanagari: शक्ति) means "power" in Sanskrit.[4] On 13 May 1998, two additional fission devices were detonated,[7] and the Indian government led by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee shortly convened a press conference to declare India a full-fledged nuclear state.[7]
This Pissed off the whole world . Anyways i don't have to narrate the whole legend you guys can google IF anybody is interested The only thing that i need to mention here is that most of the young Biharis i knew back then moved to other British commonwealth countries in the west. and the soft and tender culinary delight The Bihari kebabs made usually of beef and chicken became ever more popular here in karachi. My favorites too.
Vajpayee jee retired from politics in december 2005 and was awarded The Bharat Ratna and Liberation War awards (Bangladesh Muktijuddho Sanmanona) in 2015 . yes the year that has passed recently. He himself must be in the nineties 90's somewhere resting.
Can you believe that this is just the Sunday blog number 8 which means that its less that two months(10th April - 29th may ) since i begin writing a blog every sunday regularly and the Whole Nation has lost its identity. Not really sure what it means in rhetoric terms but in bullion terms it is a LOT with a capital L.
NADRA the Computer jee of Pakistan has been accused by the Government of Pakistan of inexcusable danger to the National and regional security corruption . The Afghan Taliban leader killed recently had on him very convincing Pakistani Nationality documents enough to confuse the agencies for days.Extremely Embarrassing. So now All Citizens of the Islamic republic are order to stand in line and have their CNIC re-verified to prove they are Not foreigners never have been never will be. Plus the 2/3rd of the top very top officials of NADRA are also FIRED . 
Bobby killing murder mystery solved.
For some Odd and Unknown reasons the weather in karachi turned awesome cool breezy and cloudy this weekend. Unfortunately the traffic hindrances created to cause long traffic jams during the the hot weather and budget season are not yet aborted. One of the reasons of a massive traffic jam in the gulshan area is the opening of a mega super store of a chain. It is a huge problem here in karachi that business and trades open their place without any consideration to the traffic flow and Parking woes.
Talking of Mega store opening and traffic Jams, the movies i watched this week included "Buddha in a Traffic Jam"
Believe it or not the movie is about the multi-billion Rs online shopping in Pakistan.![]()
The Truth is that i totally support the online shopping but before i get addicted or forced or in more simpler terms "Hooked" 
i need to study the pros & con a little more. But One thing i am very positively sure about is that in a year or so they wont be needing a sequel to this movie . No its not a God Promise. Welcome to Karma Enterprise please login your Password. ♥♠♥![]()

The Illegal construction activity is in full swing in my neighborhood. it all started when i was in the law school. in a ground plus one neighborhood they build ground plus two and later added a penthouse . Usually it is very rejuvenating for a political science student more than going to oxford or Cambridge if you fall for it you either become a run of the mill frequent flyer to London , Dubai ,Capetown or you become hopeful that some day you will find out who is actually behind all this.

Being a mangoism patient i managed to keep the equilibrium and survived .Like devil they keep changing the garb of the players. the retd generals are out these days. their latest crush is the ruling party MPA . Christian couples can divorce or file for separation in accordance with British customs and traditions. Section 7 of the Christian Divorce Act 1869 Restored by LHC
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday restored Section 7 of the Christian Divorce Act 1869 earlier omitted through an ordinance promulgated by then military ruler General Ziaul Haq in 1981.
Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah declared Federal Law and Clause Ordinance 1981 as null and void which had omitted Section 7 from the Christian Divorce Act.

Subject to the provisions contained in this Act, the High Court
Division and District Courts shall, in all suits and proceedings
hereunder, act and give relief on principles and rules which, in the
opinion of the said Courts, are as nearly as may be conformable to the
principles and rules on which the Court for Divorce and Matrimonial
Causes in England for the time being acts and gives relief:
Provided that nothing in this section shall deprive the said Courts of jurisdiction in a case where the parties to a marriage professed the Christian religion at the time of the occurrence of the facts on which the claim to relief is founded.

With restoration of this section, Christian couples can divorce or file for separation in accordance with British customs and traditions. Previously, as per section 10 of the 1981 ordinance, Christian couples could only file for separation or divorce on one reason which was adultery.
Petitioner’s counsel Sheraz Zaka told the court that after the omission of section 7 of the Act the principles of English Divorce Court had been overshadowed and neglected which placed the entire statute to be administered in an ex-facie and discriminatory manner.
Zaka said in the UK the Matrimonial Causes Act was now interpreted in a liberal manner providing a cushion to both Christian men and women to part ways if their marriage was irretrievably broken down or with mutual consent, but this ground was not available in Pakistan for Christians.

The Sunday Blog # 7
Today Is the 22nd of May 2016 and you know the day . It is the Last day of the year for dead souls i.e The 14th of Shaban .The Night after this day is called the Shab-e- Baraat Bara'at is an Arabic noun which is roughly translated to English as either innocence, records, assignment, deliverance or salvation. . It is believed that on this night a list is compiled of all those who would die in the coming year so people especially the sinners pray for forgiveness . So when the good ones are praying the bad asses play with the fire crackers or whatever. People who have lost a near one in the previous year celebrate this day a day early its called Arfa . They usually rest on the 14th assuming that their near and dear ones are resting in Peace. Most people prepare special Sweet dishes and Halwa for Fateha . Pray at night and fast on the 15th of Shaban. In the past few years the people of Karachi has accepted Death as a reality . The use of Firecrackers has decreased on Shab-e- Baraat. The feasting on Sweet dishes and halwa has also decreased because of Diabetes awareness . Due to the severe hot weather and heat wave i am not sure how many people will fast this year but i am sure that the number will be low this year. The Rural migrants and yuppy population of karachi needs no excuse to celebrate .
As expected it was a very interesting week . The Government of Pakistan play very well . The Army chief was sent to China while the Prime Minister and his league rally in the lower house of Parliament . PM's naive assertiveness brought smiles on the faces of the opposition . and somehow both the Judiciary and the Parliament of Pakistan survived. Expunged the checkmate. ( wiping the tears of joy ) .
The Karachi Electric had a very rough week. Stopped tweeting the maintenance shutdown notice after load shedding in more than 60 % of its area of responsibility and a semi- major breakdown in most parts of karachi and the red zone .
The Other very important organ of Karachi administration The KMC and DMC the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and District Municipal Corporations (DMCs) continued their protest against the FBR (Tax deptt ) who freeze the Account .
One of the most interesting thing was that the Sindh education deptt abruptly announced Summer Vacations early. Some students found out about holiday at school some are still waiting on the weekend.
2:14 am : Full Moon .
This week i found out about my Ex love celebrating 8th may day with a perfumed newspaper for All of its subscribers. Unbelievable isn't it . I rushed to the nearest newsstand of the new and old but it stinks just the same. checked all the tandoori in the neighborhood but here they don't use the urdu newspapers and you probably know why. So as they usually say Better Luck when there is hardly any chance.
10:10 am getting up to get Tea. BRB
Ever since the Osama bin Laden was found and declared dead the hideous activities of "hum ja rahey hain humara koi pata nahein hai " has suffered greatly. But this past year has been specially bad for them. The Axact got busted and sabeen got killed by her own shitty fan . and Now this week PEMRA clearly bans the re-enactments Shows and other immoral subject matters during the holy month of Ramadan . So there will be more time for Zakat donations commerecials instead of Waqar Zaka and his trick or treat ads all day .
Talking of Ramadan commercials especially the Ramadan Bachat ads should also be banned they distract a lot during fasting .The famous brand of soft drink Pepsi that usually takes the cake has already failed . The new Plastic bottle is too embarrassing for the global giant . Sold for Rs 35/- in karachi .I have stopped arguing with the stores here because after Ramadan they will probably increase the price to Rs 40 /- anyway .If only they had designed a 250 ml plastic bottle and sold it for Rs 20/-

May The Lord Almighty Allah forgive and forget what i did last year .And May my Papa and Ammi live happily ever after in Jannah . Amen
So we were talking about Ramadan and Zaka , i mean Zakat the property business is in boom already and during the holy month of zakat it becomes a rapid fire . this time i am sure both buildings of Bahria town in karachi will be bought with zakat money unless MQM does something to stop that. So this match will be very interesting during Ramadan.
The movies i watched this week were all interesting good to watch. Recommended .
I should end this Sunday Blog here. Next week i should be more relaxed as the years old property case against my dearly departed Ammi in heaven will probably move along ex parte and the army of builders estate agents will hopefully harass to coerce the other party . I have heard they even kidnap the stubborn ones ♥♠♥
Before i end this Sunday blog i have a question for the intelligentia . If Pakistani leaders are so corrupt Why we have not become Nigeria ?
